Just as importantly, Microsoft is calling for faster permitting pathways for water-efficient projects, recognising that bureaucracy often slows the very upgrades needed to improve resilience.
These efforts complement similar advocacy on energy policy, where the company has pushed for accelerated planning and expansion of the electricity grid to keep pace with AI-driven demand.
