ConocoPhillips has confirmed a leadership shake-up that will see its CFO and EVP of Strategy and Commercial, Andy O’ Brien, step up to become President and CEO from 1 September 2026. He succeeds Ryan Lance, who is moving into the role of Executive Chair of the Board after 14 years as CEO. Konnie Haynes-Welsh, currently the firm’ s Vice President of Finance and Controller, will replace Andy as CFO and also become a Senior Vice President.
