The firm’ s partnership with TerraPower will focus on the construction of two Natrium reactors capable of generating up to 690MW, with the first expected online as early as 2032, while a further six units could add another 2.1GW by 2035.
Oklo, meanwhile, is developing a fast-reactor campus in Pike County, Ohio, that could deliver up to 1.2GW and come online in 2030, using what the company calls Aurora Powerhouse reactors capable of running on both fresh and repurposed nuclear fuel.
