Patricia Collawn is Chairman president and CEO of PNM Resources and PNM , as well as the Chairman and CEO of TNMP , having previously served as the President and Chief Operating Officer and Utilities President of PNM Resources . With more than 25 years of utility and energy industry experience , Collawn has also held the key positions of President and CEO of the Public Service Company of Colorado , as well as President of Customer and Field Operations at Xcel Energy , where she managed a 6,500-person operation that was responsible for the electric and gas distribution and transmission for 1.1 million gas customers and 3.2 million electricity customers . She also serves on the boards of directors of Nuclear Electric Insurance Limited , EEI , and EPRI . From 2017-2018 , Collawn served as the first female Chairman of the board of directors of EEI , having previously served as the organization ’ s Vice Chairman since 2015 .
