At the beginning of June, Richard stepped into Occidental’ s top job following the retirement of veteran leader Vicki Hollub, who has been with the firm for more than 40 years.

Richard’ s promotion to President and CEO will give Occidental continuity at a moment when the shale sector is experiencing volatility and scrutiny.
