Michael Carney has stepped into a new role as Energy Manager for Leases & Partnerships at Meta after almost four years with Baker Hughes. At Meta, he’ ll be focused on scaling data centre buildouts and developing innovative commercial energy solutions – a timely move as demand for AI infrastructure continues to surge.

Antoine Jabet has joined Accor as VP of Carbon & Energy, bringing with him a career’ s worth of expertise in energy transition, sustainability strategy, and renewable infrastructure.

As he cheerfully noted on announcing the move, he spent three years at his previous desk staring directly at two Ibis hotels.
