A world leader in direct air capture, Climeworks has established three DAC facilities. The first, Arctic Fox, was built in 2017, with a capacity of 50 tons of CO2 per year. In 2021, Climeworks launched Orca, which captures 4,000 tons of CO2 per year. The remarkable growth in capacity continued when Mammoth opened at Hellisheiði in 2024. energydigital. com 73
